“Faces of Colombia” Exhibit by Volunteer Stephen Tribbel

Published in on February 25, 2015

In January, the British artist/photographer Stephen Tribbel, exhibited his work in the Cultural Center of El Carmen de Viboral where he also helps in one of our schools. As part of the exhibit Stephen had his 5th grade students paint their self portraits based on his photo display of them.

“Faces of Colombia” was a study of Colombia today, exploring the idea of identity; photography subjects were asked the question, “What does Colombia mean to you?” The answers presented an interesting tapestry of the country today.
